Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 29, 2026 / Last updated: October 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how arupmt ("we") handles information in the iOS and Android app "TV Cast" (the "App").
1. Our approach
The App has no user accounts, and we do not collect your photos, videos, files, screen content or audio. We do not operate any server for the App, and the App does not send your information to us.
2. Information handled only on your device
The following information is handled only between your phone (iPhone or Android) and the TV you choose. It is never sent to our servers or to any third-party server.
- Photos and videos: If you allow access to your photos, the App reads the photos, videos and albums you choose to show on the TV or to make slideshows.
- Documents: Files you choose (PDF, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) are converted to images on your device so they can be shown on the TV. The conversion happens only on your device; files are never sent to the internet.
- Screen mirroring: Only while you are mirroring, the App captures your phone screen and the audio that other apps are playing, and sends them to the TV. The microphone is not used. Capturing stops when you stop mirroring.
- Audio recording permission (Android): On Android, the App asks for the "record audio" permission so it can send the sound that other apps are playing to the TV while you mirror. It is used only for that purpose; the App never records, stores or sends microphone audio. If you do not allow it, you can still mirror the picture without sound.
- Local network: Used to find and connect to TVs on the same Wi-Fi network (Chromecast, Google TV, DLNA-compatible TVs, etc.).
Photos, videos, files, screen content and audio are sent directly from your phone to your TV within your Wi-Fi network. They do not pass through any server on the internet.
3. Information stored on your device
The following information is stored only on your phone and is deleted when you delete the App.
- Your point balance
- Slideshows you create (which albums and photos they use)
- The TV you last connected to (its name and network address)
- Settings such as picture quality
4. Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob, an advertising service of Google LLC, to show ads that let you earn points. To show ads, Google may collect information such as:
- The advertising identifier (on iOS, the IDFA only if you allow tracking; on Android, the advertising ID)
- Device information such as IP address (which may be used to estimate your approximate location), device model, OS version and language
- Ad interactions such as impressions, views and taps
- Diagnostic information about crashes and performance
This information is handled under Google's Privacy Policy and is encrypted in transit. We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you.
You can change your ad settings at any time:
- iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads (reset or delete your advertising ID)
If you do not allow tracking or delete your advertising ID, you can still use the App, but ads will not be personalized. In the European Economic Area, the UK and other regions where the law requires it, the App asks for your consent before showing ads.
Ads are shown only on your phone, never on your TV.
5. Sharing with third parties
Because we do not collect your information, we do not share it with third parties. For information Google collects to show ads, see Section 4.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when needed. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
